Midtown Students exists to provide a place for students (6th -12th grade) to connect with God, peers, and dedicated adult leaders, who help them learn more about Jesus. Jesus is better than anything else, so we want to see Jesus get a hold of students’ hearts and change the entire trajectory of their lives. To help make this happen, we create an environment each week for students to meet Jesus and walk in family on mission with Him in a way that relevantly engages them in their unique season of life. Midtown Students is the best place to be on a Wednesday night!
Outside of our regular Wednesday nights, we love hosting different events throughout the year. These events are a great time to invest in friendships and make unforgettable memories. We enjoy lake days, trampoline parks, river floats, tournaments, theme nights, and everything in between.
Wednesday Nights are our weekly student gathering where we kick things off with dinner and games. Then we move into a time of teaching and worship, followed by small groups.
Small groups are divided by gender and by middle school and high school and are led by an incredible team of volunteers. Small groups are a time to dive into Scripture, reflect on the sermon, and talk about what is going on in the lives of each of our students.
Each winter, our Midtown Students head out of town for a long weekend to connect with Jesus, deepen friendships, slow down, and make incredible memories.
Each summer, our students head to camp to spend time unplugged in God’s creation. Camp is filled with biblical teaching, worship, small groups, and meaningful spiritual conversations. We also get to enjoy time outdoors, adventure, recreation, and plenty of games. Our hope is for it to be the best week of their entire year.
Have questions?
Why have a Student ministry?
Our vision for our whole church is to be a Jesus centered family on mission together. Why? Because we believe that Jesus is better than everything else, and being a family together is what Jesus calls us to. Our student ministry is for middle and high school students who want to be a part of our Jesus centered family on mission. We are excited to be about discipling students to be confident in what they think about Jesus, and who are excited to be Christians on mission in their schools.
Interested in supporting our Student ministry?
Whether it’s helping provide dinner for a weekly gathering, covering supplies for events, or sending a student to camp, your generosity makes a direct impact.
